WebMar 26, 2024 · We were trying to collect fully paired data, but due to technical problems or bad luck, some samples measurements under A or B are sometimes spoiled. The two obvious--but unsatisfying--solutions are to 1) throw out all incomplete pairs and do a paired t-test, or 2) ignore the pairing and do an unpaired t-test across all the data.
