At first, I attributed the puddle to rain, but later realized that it had not rained when I had driven the car the day before and thus the puddle was not rain. After some crawling around and investigation, I found that I have a coolant leak in the upper radiator hose, where it connects up to the thermostat housing. The leak is coming from the bottom side of the hose.
